Now that I have completed my first Whole30, I am ready to share my own Whole30 story, what I learned, and what I plan to do going forward.

Now that I have completed my first Whole30, I am ready to share my own Whole30 story, what I learned, and what I plan to do going forward.

I strictly followed the Whole30 program for 30 days. That means I eliminated all sweeteners, dairy, grains, and legumes for 30 days. I did not even lick my fingers or a spoon if I was making something for the rest of my family that I wasn’t supposed eat. That was a big challenge for me!

Prior to 2014, the only time in my life that I had gone more than a month without biting my nails was when I was pregnant. Any other time it took me a lot of work to keep my nails looking nice.

When I saw my son starting to bite his nails, I knew I needed to make some changes. I hate having my kids see me bite my nails, and I would hate for them to develop the habit I did.

I have been wearing a Fitbit Flex daily since March 1st. I did not buy the Fitbit for myself. I would consider that an extravagant purchase for myself. I actually received it as compensation for a blogging project I completed.
