When I think of fall, I think of:
- the beauty of trees changing colors,
- wearing long sleeved shirts,
- my house filled with apples
- and, of course, pumpkin spice lattes!
I especially love when I can enjoy a pumpkin spice latte without even leaving my house …and with less than 10 minutes of prep time. This recipe is so easy to make and perfect for a weekend treat while relaxing or watching your favorite sporting event. If you brew your coffee while measuring and mixing the remaining ingredients, you really only need less than 10 minutes to prepare.
If you are like me and my husband and REALLY enjoy your coffee drinks, you might want to keep a pitcher of cold brew coffee on hand in your refrigerator and use that in place of fresh brewed coffee.
This recipe makes 4 approximately 10 oz lattes. In my house this is the perfect amount for my husband and I to split between the two of us. We each fill up our good sized coffee cups and then go back for a small refill.
You could also double this recipe and use a full sized crock pot to serve more people. The double batch would serve 8-10 people depending on the size of the latte (8-10 oz).
Your pumpkin spice lattes will be good and hot after just two hours in your slow cooker.
I fixed these as our weekday morning coffee for me and my husband to share during his last day off. I had the slow cooker started by 6am and the lattes were ready to drink by 8am after we got my son on the bus and I had dropped my daughter off at preschool.
