Ingredients
2
cups
whole wheat flour + more for kneading
1
tsp
baking powder
1
tsp
baking soda
1
tsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
dried basil
1 1/2
cups
plain or Greek yogurt*
1/2
tbsp
butter for greasing pan
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°.
In a medium bowl, mix 2 cups whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and seasonings.
Add in yogurt and stir until all flour has been mixed in.
Form dough into a ball and knead dough in mixing bowl. At this point you may need to add additional flour if dough is too wet.
Grease large pizza pan (and your fingers) with butter. I used a 16-inch pizza pan.
Spread the pizza dough onto a greased pan with your fingers.
Prebake the crust at 425° for 3 minutes to set the crust.
Add desired sauce, seasonings, toppings, and cheese and bake at 425° for 15-18 minutes or until cheese starts to turn brown.
Notes
*Note: If using plain yogurt, you will likely need to add more flour.
